Shipping & Returns

Payment

At this time we are not required to charge GST or PST for orders shipped within Canada. However, international orders may be subject to duties and/or customs charges, which are the responsibility of the recipient. These charges are assessed by each individual country at the time of delivery. Unfortunately, we cannot estimate your country's customs and/or duties charges. It is illegal for us to put "gift" on the customs forms or understate the value of your order, so please do not ask us to do so.

We accept several payment methods for your convenience:

  • online payments from your credit card or bank account through Paypal
  • Interac email money transfer (Canadian customers only)
  • personal cheques (Canadian customers only) and money orders

You do not need to have a Paypal account to pay via credit card. Once you place your order through the shopping cart you will be directed to Paypal to complete your purchase.

If you wish to pay via Interac email money transfer, please put a note to this effect in the special instructions box at checkout and select the cheque/money order/Interac transfer option. You will then receive instructions via email on how to complete the transaction. Please note that you need to have online access to a bank account at one of the five major financial institutions in Canada to use this payment method -- see this website for details.

If you wish to pay via money order/cheque you will be given instructions at checkout (these instructions will also be emailed to you after you check out). Your order will be shipped once we receive payment in full and any personal cheques have cleared.

Shipping

Continuum Family ships pretty much anywhere in the world via Canada Post. We will process and ship out your order of instock items within 2-3 business days of receiving payment. Custom orders (anything in the CF line of items) may take 1-3 weeks to ship, depending on the items and quantities ordered. If your order is comprised of both instock and backordered items, we will ship your order when the entire order is ready. If you want us to ship the instock items right away, please contact us. We may need to charge you an additional shipping charge in this case.

Within Canada our standard shipping method is Expedited Parcel. Expedited Parcel includes insurance coverage, delivery confirmation, and an on-time delivery guarantee (varies from 1 to 7 business days, depending where you are in relation to us). However, if your total order is 1.1 lbs (500g) or less and can be packaged in an envelope less than 0.8 inches (20mm) thick, we can ship it via Lettermail for quite a bit cheaper than the parcel rate. If you wish to take advantage of this option, please let us know in the special instructions box at checkout. If you are paying through Paypal, we will refund the difference in shipping cost to your Paypal account. If you are paying via check/money order/Interac, please do not send us payment until we contact you with a revised order total. Although delivery times for Lettermail are about the same as the parcel rate, please keep in mind that your package will not be trackable or insurable and we are not responsible for it once it has shipped.

To the United States, our standard shipping method is Small Packets Airmail for packages up to and including 1 kg (2.2 lbs) and Expedited Parcel for packages over 1 kg. Both shipping methods include insurance coverage. Delivery time is generally 4-10 business days for Small Packets Airmail and 6-12 business days for Expedited Parcel.

Outside North America our standard shipping method is Small Packets Airmail for packages up to and including 500g (1.1 lbs) and Surface Mail Parcel for packages over 500g. Both shipping methods include insurance coverage. Delivery times vary depending on where you are but are generally around 10 business days for Airmail and 4-6 weeks for Surface Mail to most international destinations.

If you need your package faster than our standard service methods provide, or if you would like us to explore a less expensive shipping method (i.e. Surface Mail vs. Airmail), please contact us and we'll be happy to look into alternative arrangements.

Exchanges/Returns

Wrong size? Change your mind on the colour? No problem! Contact us to arrange for an exchange. Let us know what you'd like in return and we'll send it to you. An additional shipping charge will apply to send you the new item(s).

We want you to be happy with your purchase - so happy in fact, that you recommend us to all your friends! If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund of the purchase price. However, please note that for sanitary reasons we cannot accept returns on underwear, training pants, diapers and potties.

Eligible exchanges/returns must be received back by us in original (unwashed) condition within 30 days of the original ship date. Original shipping charges cannot be refunded.

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for items lost or stolen while being sent back to us. It is highly recommended that you insure the package you are returning. Your return and/or exchange will not be processed until the package is received by us in its original condition.
