Prefolds can be pinned, fastened with a Snappi, or secured with a fleece prefold belt. You can also fold them in thirds and place them inside a pull-up wool soaker. Even use them to mop up a pee miss when baby is having some diaper-free time!
These are 100% cotton twill weave unbleached 4x8x4 prefold cloth diapers that are soft, durable and highly absorbent. They are made in Pakistan with luxurious Indian cotton. Unbleached prefolds have a natural, ivory colour to them and are softer, more absorbent and will last longer than a bleached version. And, they do not contain the chemicals and dioxins used during the bleaching process.
Your prefolds will arrive rather flat looking. However, after a few washes to remove the natural oils that are present, they will quilt up beautifully, making them super soft and fluffy! Maximum absorption is reached after about 6-8 washes. These measure 12" by 16" (30.5 cm by 40.5 cm), but as with anything all-cotton, please expect 5-10% shrinkage. Infant size prefolds will fit babies from 7-15 lbs (3.2-6.8 kg) when used as diapers, but can be used longer when used folded into thirds.
